  • Ctrl+alt+,: set focus to the right bar (e.g. to get to the calendar)
  • There are ways to find the largest emails, but I think the bulk of my usage comes from many small emails, e.g. USPS’s daily digests with images of incoming mail. It can help to search for “has:attachment larger:500K” and look for patterns.
  • Deleting like 5000 random emails at once saved ~170 M (the “Forums” and “Promotions” categories that I had).
    • IMO, this isn’t worth it. There’s too much of a risk of deleting something with value.

Apparently important emails don’t get archived, so the filter should be modified to mark them as unimportant.
